KatKabin® Ltd – Terms of Sale (UK & EU)

By accessing or registering with the KatKabin® Ltd website,
you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully.



1.        Shipping & Handling (UK & EU)
1.1 KatKabin primarily uses Royal Mail or trusted couriers to deliver orders.
1.2 UK Deliveries: Once an item is collected by the carrier,
KatKabin is not liable for loss, damage, or delay. Claims must be made directly
with the carrier.
1.3 EU Deliveries: Customs duties, taxes, or import
restrictions may apply. It is your responsibility to ensure the shipment
complies with your country’s regulations. KatKabin cannot refund duties or
taxes applied by customs.
1.4 If you choose Recorded Signed For, Special Delivery, or Guaranteed Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery (UK only) and the item is lost or damaged, KatKabin
will replace it once confirmed lost or returned. Refunds for lost
items are processed 15 days after dispatch.
1.5 KatKabin will not replace items if a signature confirming delivery has been
obtained, regardless of whose signature it is.
1.6 Delivery to an alternative address is your responsibility. KatKabin is not
liable for undelivered items caused by incorrect details.

2.       Stock & Special Orders
2.1 Most items displayed are in stock. If an item is out of stock, you will be
notified by email, and KatKabin will aim to source it within 5 working days.
2.2 Payment for out-of-stock items is only required once the item has been
confirmed as ordered.
2.3 If KatKabin cannot obtain an item, a refund will be issued within 3 working
days.
2.4 Special orders may require a 50% deposit. If unavailable,
deposits will be refunded within 3 working days.
2.5 Shipping and handling terms above apply to special orders.

 

3.       Privacy & Data
3.1 Personal data collected includes your name, address, contact details, and
order history.
3.2 Data may be used to process orders and keep you informed of products and
offers if you consent.
3.3 Data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR for UK
customers and EU GDPR for EU customers.
3.4 Card and financial details are never stored by KatKabin.

4.       Intellectual Property
4.1 All website content—including text, images, and design—is copyright
KatKabin Ltd.
4.2 Reproduction, modification, or republication without written permission is
prohibited.
4.3 Trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

 

5.       Contract Formation
5.1 Your order is an offer to purchase.
5.2 An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does
not constitute acceptance.
5.3 The contract is formed once your order has been dispatched.
5.4 KatKabin reserves the right to reject or cancel any order at its
discretion.

 

6.       Right to Refuse Orders
6.1 Orders may be refused due to stock unavailability, payment issues, or other
reasonable causes.
6.2 KatKabin is not liable for any losses caused by refusal or cancellation of
an order.

 

7.       Returns & Refunds
UK Customers:
You may cancel within 14 days of receipt.
Return items in original, unused condition with all packaging.
Refunds exclude shipping costs and transaction fees.
EU Customers:
You may cancel within 14 days of receipt under EU Distance Selling Regulations
Regulations.
Return items in original, unused condition with all packaging.
You are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed.
Faulty Items (UK & EU):
Return faulty or defective items within 30 days.
Refunds will cover the cost of the product only, not shipping or packaging.
Important: Always use a tracked service; KatKabin is not
responsible for items lost in transit.

 

8.       EU Import Duties & Taxes
8.1 EU customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or taxes imposed
by their country.
8.2 Orders delayed, held, or seized by customs are not refundable.
8.3 If items are returned to KatKabin in original condition due to customs
issues, a refund will be issued minus shipping and any customs fees incurred.

 

9.       Liability
KatKabin is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses;
Loss of income, profit, or data;
Misuse of products;
External website content linked from our site.
Products are supplied as-is; warranty claims should be directed to the
manufacturer.

 

10.  Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes with UK customers are subject to the courts of England and Wales. EU
customers may also have local consumer protections under EU law.
